Asfaltni putevi i asfaltne površine

There’s more emphasis than ever on making big savings on project costs, time and carbon emissions. And when building new roads and parking areas, particularly over soft sub grades, Tensar has the answer. Tensar TriAx® geogrid’s 360° tensile stiffness and triangular apertures lock the fill aggregate particles in place, creating a mechanically stabilised layer with outstanding performance under traffic loading. It means the depth of aggregate layers can be dramatically reduced, sometimes by up to 50%, and in some cases so can the depth of excavation and volume of spoil. Multi-layers of TriAx® can also be used to minimise differential settlement over variable ground.

Tensar has developed powerful TensarPave™ software to enable designers to arrive to the optimum solution for specific project conditions.

More road for your maintenance budget

With smaller budgets, there's more need to improve the value for money in road maintenance. What's the simple answer? Include steps to minimise the amount and degree of future maintenance during road construction or repair. Here's where Tensar can assist. Using TriAx™ geogrids to mechanically stabilise unbound layers of new roads allowing construction savings to be seen in either thickness reduction or increased life leading to reduced maintenance requirements.

Where Tensar can help

Tensar Technology addresses key areas in road building and maintenance:

Structural improvement  using the Tensar Spectra Pavement Optimisation system Engineers and road operators can benefit from reduced construction costs as well as building in lower maintenance requirements.

Paved Roads and Paved Areas

Tensar TriAx™ geogrids mechanically stabilise and confine the fill aggregate particles in place, creating a mechanically stabilised layer with outstanding performance under traffic loading.
